Park(ing) Day PHL
Every year organizations gather together to reclaim individual parking spaces in urban centers around the world, transforming them into park-lets. This is called Park(ing) Day.
The design conceptually peeled back the street, creating paired wooden benches and revealing a patch of grass. To accommodate the limited installation schedule, the benches were constructed off-site, then delivered, finished and installed on the morning of Park(ing) Day.
